Far Cry 5 is a phenomenal dive into the American heartland, Hope County, Montana, where the totalitarian cult "Gates of Eden" reigns, led by the charismatic yet terrifying Joseph Seed. This installment of the series has taken a huge leap forward in terms of player freedom and atmosphere, creating one of the most beautiful yet dangerous open worlds.

Atmosphere and Setting (5/5): Moving the action to modern-day America was a brilliant decision. The beauty of Montana — dense forests, wide rivers, snow—capped mountains and abandoned farms - create an incredibly authentic and fresh atmosphere for the series. The musical accompaniment, mixing country, gospel and psychedelic rock, enhances the feeling that you have fallen into a cult dystopia.

Freedom and Gameplay Chaos (5/5): Far Cry 5 provides unprecedented freedom in gameplay. You choose where to go, who to save, and which member of the "Family" to fight against. At the same time, the game became even more chaotic and fun: the ability to recruit teammates(
Partners and Co—op (5/5): The Guns for Hire system is a huge plus. You can take on sniper Grace Armstrong, pilot Nick Rai — or, even better, a bear named Cheeseburger! This not only adds humor, but also makes the tactical possibilities almost limitless. Full-fledged co-op for the entire campaign allows you to go through this crazy story with a friend, which doubles the fun.

The Seed Family (5/5): While Vaas from FC3 is hard to top, Joseph Seed (and his siblings) are beautifully designed antagonists. Each of them controls their own region and represents a different aspect of the Cult's beliefs. Their personal stories, methods of influence, and storytelling through violent "captures" create a powerful, uncomfortable, and highly memorable narrative.
