Dying light the beast Oh boy what a Journey this has been!

Dying Light The Beast Is such a great game!
Never thought I'd get so grabbed into a game in 2025.

Feel like this deserves a good pat on the back to Techland.


Dying Light The Beast is set in caster woods.
Great setting the country side gave me Dying Light The Following vibes!
The writing for this has been really thought through to give a wider experience with what's going on with Kyle Crane over the year's

Kyle's Charactor has also improved a lot as well! making him more angry and more less trustful while still trying to care for the people he helps and care's for.

The Villian in this was nicely written and put effort in as well. a lot of moments i was shocked of thinking wow this is really happening.


A game where it's actually optimised in 2025 really great start gives the game a chance to show it'self without any issues awesome work Techland. I had everything on High and no issues.


Gameplay is a big improvement feels smooth and great! combat nice and play's well.

Improved mechanics is always a nice thing, Parkour still great.
though I do feel some building's were specific to some routes when parkouring but still good.


Really great! the Enviroment when it fades into a more creepy and horror setting real nice.
and the sudden sound jumps when you encounter a zombie felt great.
vehicle sounds great so do weapons also.


Visuals is amazing nice smooth and polished not over the top either which is great! there's been times i took a photo as it just looked amazing!


vehicles felt great felt heavy in the way of realism so when driving and turning which felt great when driving.
You don't own you're vehicles on this. I did like Dying Light The Following which you could do that with the buggy I believe. But the map isn't like big in the concept of needing a vehicle 24/7
The 4x4 was nice you had you're own skin on it and could repair it and of course refuel it.
I think it would be cool if it had a designated parking spot outside of settlements where you can own at least 1 vehicle and have a vehicle when you feel like just needing to go back to settlement or somewhere else, you would have it there.

but overall you do have the vehicles scattered across the map so always keeping a eye you're see one.


two different settlements which I won't go into detail on due to spoilering it.
but have there own unique trait about them and real good story on how they formed and got together as a bunch of people.

Definitely was driven by what made them who they were and how they managed to survive!


I give it a 9/10 They listened and really gave dying light the beast as much of Dying Light 1 while also bringing some new elements as well. and boy was I amazed how polished the game was! even took time to add quite a lot of small details too which is just great!

I will note I feel the game like main story was shorter than dying light 1
I completed everything in dying light the beast and all achievements with around roughly the same playtime as I got just by playing the main stuff through dying light 1

most of the achievements as well were fun to get. didn't get board over them which is great as whole point is to have fun achievements.

Thanks for listening to the community techland this is why games become a master piece because of that.

I Bought Dying Light 2 ultimate edition few years back so I got given dying light the beast for free!

This game is truly something, Something remarkable and amazing!
I went into this game not knowing anything or anywhat is going on therefore my blind playthrough I learnt a lot of mistakes that would of course be known that I need to take advantage of the mechanics and everything in the game to allow me to improve.


The story in this game is basic and pretty much understanding of what's going on f rom start to finish however the story blends really well in this game universe.
one thing that might be of putting it that there's no self adjusting to what difficulty to play on but without spoilering this game (despite being a 10 year old game) It works well why this game doesn't have a difficulty setting. the game isn't hard when you start getting the hang of things and having the rough understanding on everything.


this game looks really good especially back 10 years ago!
the way the ships look and space is really incredible especially as a space person I really like the way this game visually looks!


The Sound design is also good! the way the ships sounds and asteroids.
along with shooting the turrets on the ship, warp drive.
Just really good!


Gameplay will get some getting use to if your not use to this type of gameplay however it's pretty straight forward which is what I like.
It also fits the feel for this game and of course being in space.
There's no first person to switch to but honestly this game is unique and great without needing it. Could future games maybe pull of first person with this franchise yes.
Would it necessarily need it for this franchise to be good no this game is able to be great without needing everything all in once.


This game runs smooth! Again this is a 10 year old game so this game really does run well. I had everything max and no issues, very and I mean very little bugs at least for me which is great! especially with how old games would usually occur having bugs. But this game is smooth to run!


The factions on this have enough to keep you up on your feet with fighting could it of needed maybe more factions maybe but as far as I'm aware this is the first rebel galaxy game so honestly the amount of factions in this game is enough for you to have plenty enough to do in this game.
Also you can also decide who you want to be neutral or friendly or even go far on being enemies with.


Plenty enough Ships to keep the replay ability going! and have fun with all the ships! Really great to use and easy to understand what the ships pros and cons are.


The achievements for the most part is not that part pretty easy to get some grindable ones.
But one of the ones that I found out the hard way with is the kill 20 pirates lords
Once you got a ship good enough to destroy them.
To get this I'd simply save and quit
launch back in destroy the ship and quit the game without saving - ALT F4 and rinse repeat
otherwise I'd give the achievements a 9/10


This Game is one of my favourite third person open world space exploration and sci fi games I've played!
I should also mention the interactions with characters in this is great! I loved the intro to as well in this game! I'd easily give this game around a 10/10 of course most games for people will be a 9/10 as all games have there own issues but I truly believe this game deserves a 10/10 from me.
