Forgiving yourself doesn’t feel loud or dramatic. It feels quiet. It feels like finally putting something heavy down after carrying it for too long. It feels like choosing peace over guilt, growth over shame.

I’m learning that I don’t have to be perfect to be worthy of love, rest, or happiness. I’m allowed to grow at my own pace. I’m allowed to let go of the past without hating the version of me that survived it.

To my future self: I hope you smile as you read this. I hope you see how far you’ve come. And if you’re struggling again, remember you’ve forgiven yourself before, and you can do it again.

Be proud. Be present. Keep going.
