With these cosmoteer Ships. I wanted to give the feel of old school submarines. And to my knowledge, they did not carry particularly strong armor. Battles with my ships are win or loose and over in seconds. Heck, if they had nebulas or places to hide an ambush you, that's what these ships would do. But that's not in the game.

This is all old stuff when the game was constantly changing and also using a bunch of mods. And to be fair any NPC Ships they did fight. They would defeat and some of them. I actually did tune to defeat the largest ships in the game. However, it was primary for looks and theme. You mentioned I shine in KSP and what I did in KSP was to make things look nice and then be functional.
