One of the best games I've ever played, it perfectly combines the Dishonored levels and abilities with the Hitman concept of playing a level over and over to mastery, all while not feeling like you're just doing homework for your first few "runs". Decidedly not rogue-like whatsoever, the time-loop mechanic is just a way to rationalize the levels resetting, and your progress essentially always carries over. Truly one of the best single-player experiences you can have, I put 50 hours into my first playthrough just discovering all the secrets, getting all the achievements, and mastering the changing level layouts. It's like playing Dishonored, or any of the other great immersive sim games over and over, learning enemy behaviors and level layouts until you can breeze through the game armed with the knowledge you picked up on your past playthroughs, except it concentrates it down into a single 25 hour experience that really lets you feel like you're mastering the game through both your equipment and your knowledge. Play in offline mode to fix the invasion mechanic allowing losers into your stealth game, doesn't detract from the experience that way. Luckily, that is one of the many options this game has, and they've even patched in even MORE accessibility options! Props to Arkane for yet another high quality, lore-rich, tense, immersive-sim masterpiece that nobody will end up playing because it isn't a AAA competitive shooter. If you liked their other games, Prey and Dishonored, you'd do yourself a disservice by not playing this one too.
