steam is full of bots that impersonate people on your friend's list and will add you for some malicious purpose, like phishing. never click a link from someone unless you are certain you are talking to the right person and that they are someone you can trust. if anyone is ever pressuring you to accept a trade or to click a link, stop and think for a moment about how the situation feels to you and maybe even double check the profile details.
