Phasmophobia aims to recreate the experience one might find watching silly ghost hunter reality TV shows. In my eyes it succeeds in capturing both the cool parts, where you use a bunch of funky gear to identify a ghost, and the goofy parts, where you and your friends end up running around like a bunch of headless chickens to escape a ghost that isn't even trying to hurt you (yet). It's not a game I could see myself spending a ton of time in solo, but with the right group it's easy to burn dozens of hours.

The team has been adding new maps and updating older ones at a decent pace while supplying holiday events to spice things up here and there. It might not be the breakneck pace that other larger teams push things out at but it has been enough to keep me coming back time and time again.
