I'm an avid kart racer fan. Have been all my life. From Mario Kart to Toy Story Racer to Muppet Racemania to SRB2Kart. Everything about the chaos, luck and skill-based gameplay of a kart racer I magnetise like a moth to flame.

Sonic Racing Crossworlds scratches that itch that even when I'm getting dominated by items, it is in such a cartoonishly evil fashion I can't help but smile from ear-to-ear.

Don't get me wrong, there's definitely some balancing issues that NEED to be addressed (the Tech Drift + Level 4 meta is abysmal to play against and actively deletes interactions with other players) but the cast, the DLC and the active online festival components have been keeping me coming back with regular rewards and long-time Sonic Racing fan service.

I do genuinely hope we get a Year 2 season pass because I'd love even more reason for this game to stay around for a very very long time.
