A game that absolutely hit harder on a second playthrough. RUBATO is, quite frankly, a piece of art. From the soundtrack, to the art direction, to the gameplay mechanics themselves, RUBATO is deeply enjoyable, and just fun. It's just plain fun! Fresh off of an 8 hour replay of the game with friends, I can firmly attest to the fact that RUBATO is fun. A delight, an absolute treat, a labor of love and one well worth your money.

I will not lie, the game is occasionally clunky or awkward. But the sheer charm dripping from every facet of it is more than enough to make up for it. As someone who's played it through very close to twice, and is very close to having a 100% save file, I feel qualified in saying this.

And to dconn, whom I hope to be able to call a friend, thank you for letting us play early. Thank you for letting us experience this wonderful piece of art, alongside all our other friends. You deserve every bit of rest after having worked tirelessly on this project. Take it easy.
