I know how to get itch relief. Get one of those water bottles and fill it up with very hot water. Not too hot where it's scorching but just hot enough where you sensitive area can barely take the heat. Gently put the bottle underneath your boys and the itch will respond to the heat. This is much safer than scratching your boys raw. You can get the same results in the shower, especially if you have one of those detachable shower heads.
