The Great Circle is a must-play for any Indiana Jones or adventure fan. Machine Games "gets it" more than the sequel movie creators did!

The story has a very nice curve and progression that motivates Indy and you to figure out what the mystery is all about, just as well as the old movies did. The characters have funny and heartwarming interactions with eachother and are written very well. The voicework is incredible too, and Troy Baker's Harrison Ford impression is spot on.

The music does a great job of recreating John Williams' style, both for cinematics and general gameplay. The dynamic music that kicks in during combat works fantastically too.

The visuals are overall top-notch, and the game is rather well optimized, which is no surprise considering the developers forked id Tech. It does suffer from a fair few graphical and animation bugs, but it's not very detrimental to the overall experience.

For the gameplay, they combine open world-esque maps with more linear story-driven areas. You can easily choose to ignore most of the extra content, so it's all up to you how much you want to explore. I can definitely recommend doing AT LEAST the "fieldwork" sidequests, as they are major pieces of fun content (it surprised me that they weren't mandatory). This system works really well for such a game. The sense of exploration that we all want out of such a game is done justice here.

While a little finnicky, the combat was pretty satisfying, and using the whip for it (as well as for mobility) was alot of fun. There's a pretty big stealth/melee focus, and using the guns is usually a last resort, which is fitting for the franchise. It is, however, very satisfying if you do engage, and manage to fight your way through a mass of alerted enemies who can kill you in just a couple shots.

This is an easy recommendation, and I REALLY hope we get to see a sequel, if not multiple. THIS is how you keep this very special franchise alive.

As a big fan of point-and-click adventure games, as well as murder mysteries, this was an absolute joy. The amount of effort and love poured into this project is very radiant! It's also some of, if not the best characterization I've seen for the cast, it really made it feel like the characters are a proper friend group. It's so heartwarming to see real usage of some of the less used characters too. Music, art, everything was just excellent, and all for free...this is a must play for any Sonic fan! 💜

Easily one of the best video games ever made, must play for EVERYONE.

Amazing game with graphics that will hold up for a long time to come thanks to it's brilliant and inspiring art style.

Absolutely perfect game, not much else to say. Excellent music, tight gameplay that scales it's difficulty amazingly, and a story that I could connect to on a personal level. Will never forget this experience!

Epic but also makes me very angery

The game is absolutely fun, gorgeous looking, and the soundtrack by Floex is amazing as always. Very short, but for the price it is extremely worth it and all fans of point and click games should play through it. Worth the wait!
