I thought a lot about this game before buying it, unsure whether I would actually like it. I finally decided to give it a chance, and I’m glad I did.

The story is genuinely engaging, and being able to play as Max again, seeing how she has grown after the events in Arcadia Bay, makes the experience especially meaningful.

The new characters give some fresh air to the story. I'm planning to pick up Life is Strange Reunion after this.
From the trailer alone, i can tell that if anyone wants to see the full picture of the story, they should buy Double Exposure to experience the interactions and the events of this storyline.

Overall, the game is solid.
However, there’s one aspect I’d rate negatively: the DLC pricing.
While looking up how to unlock certain achievements, I discovered that you need to buy the Ultimate Edition upgrade, which costs 20 euros, just to get two achievements and two skins.

For a studio that once sold full collector’s editions of Life is Strange and Before the Storm for around 40 euros, complete with physical goodies, this feels like a real disappointment.
