As someone who has been into Final Fantasy for a long time and been on/off with MMOs since I first started playing them, FF14 ended up clicking with me big time and is a big, worthwhile purchase. The only downside I have is how much of a slog ARR is but once you reach Heavensward, the pace picks up.

It is a long journey but a really fun one to me.

EDIT: FF14 has consumed my life. Help me.
