Alaska - The Final Frontier.

Yet, Alaska is in danger. A growing Xenian Malignance Zone threatens not only City Forty-Two, Anchorage, but also all of the Far North. While Alaska's harsh winter conditions have slowed the advance of the Zone, Anchorage also undertook a firebombing campaign as hundreds of thousands of gallons of oil and napalm were dropped on the encroaching X.M.Z. Yet things are getting desperate. As the X.M.Z grows, expanding its border with Alaska, the need for more oil arises.

An expedition is being sent to the Northern oilfields in Alaska.
Hundreds of workers will set off in a weeks long journey with Houndeye Sled dogs, Xenian work creatures, and the few vehicles that can make it that far North.

For those who survive the journey the fate of Alaska, and Anchorage, will be in their hands.

Darkness falls.
