So for years I've been fighting with code trying to get a working script to scrape member join requests, resolve vanity IDs if needed, verify their account age, and accept valid requests all in one package. Since not everything could be done using the Steam Web API or Steam Webkit and there's no public documentation on group management it wasn't easy or obvious to figure out. But finally I've been able to get it working. It's not a 24/7 bot, I'll still have to manually run the script, but everyone should be getting accepted a lot sooner now if their request is valid.

Recently there's been a lot of people who have had their account been hijacked. If anyone tells you that you have to add another person because they "accidentally" reported your account to a "Valve employee" or "Valve developer" and your account might be getting suspended DON'T LISTEN TO THEM AND BLOCK THEM IMMEDIATELY. They can also hack your friend's accounts and have your friends send you this type of message so please beware.

Or if someone adds you claiming they're a "Valve employee" and wants access to your steam information DON'T LISTEN TO THEM AND BLOCK THEM IMMEDIATELY

Plus when you create your steam account you've acknowledged and accepted Steam's End User License Agreement which means that steam has the ability to access your data whenever they want. So if someone who says that they're a valve employee and wants to see your account information/data then they could just use the database to access it Lol.

This is all I have to say for now so I hope you all stay safe out there and don't click on any mysterious link that you don't trust.
