@Radio Bug: I don't have any plans to make the engine open source (the editor crashes easily, and the code is a real mess). And I wouldn't want to take any cut of your profits - it's hard enough making it as an indie when you get 100% of the cut!

Or perhaps you are open to working with me and/or allowing me access so that I can make my own project with a similar combat & exploration system in exchange for a percentage of the profits if my game ever sees the light of day in any monetary sense?

Hey! Sorry, for some reason I wasn't subscribed to this thread.

@Radio Bug: thank you! I use FNA/XNA because I started way back with XNA (now decrepit). I don't have a good recommendation for engine, sadly, because FNA is really do-it-yourself on everything.

@Def-Z: sorry I took literally years to respond! I've since implemented cloud saves to Horizon's Gate and Kingsvein.

I'm the biggest fan of your games man. They're not on this account because my phone broke and 2 factor authentication locked me out of my main. Anyways, I really wanted to ask what engine do you use for kings vein (my personal favorite so far can't put it down) and what plugins/ changes do you use? Reason I ask is I have a complete story with branching endings and am looking for a good engine with great combat and your games seem to reflect well on these matters. Thanks for reading this !
