This group is ONLY for people who have GMOD only. if you don't have GMOD in your Steam Library, you're have to download it if you're wanting join this group. Having the Splatoon Addons are also required to be a part of this group.

I will in no way, shape, or form allow any kinds of bullying or harassments by anyone. I made this Steam Group with the sole purpose of having a good time with other people who own GMOD and are fans of Splatoon.

Splatoon doesn't have to be the only subject though. You can talk about other pieces of media, whether that's other game franchises, movies, TV Shows, etc.

Any kind of opinion will also be respected. The reason that I say this is because a lot more toxicity has been going around social media when it comes to current topics.

Hey, everybody. It's Chase.

I know that I've been offline for months with the one or two times of actually getting online for something, but....I have something to tell everybody if you care.

I'm cancelling Darkness in Inkopolis.

For those of you who don't know what Darkness in Inkopolis is, it was gonna be a 3 movie series of my Inksona going on an epic journey to defeat a universe destroying monster known as Satinis. I was planning on making this trilogy something truly amazing, using SFM to its full potential, I know that sounds like a story that I made up, but I came up with the idea for a Splatoon movie back in August of 2016. I had plans and ideas in my head for this trilogy, and an overall insane concept for a trilogy of films that featured Inklings.

However, after the past few years, after Splatoon 2 sorta let me down, after seeing how unforgivable Nintendo has been in terms of treating their fans with respect and the amount of DMCA bullcrap that they've been doing, after entering my first year of college with some pretty bad grades (as of this time), and after a lot of thinking on my own, I'm putting this trilogy behind me so I can move on to another project that I can actually work on and feel proud of without a huge company completely murdering all of my work.

For all of the people who were incredibly excited for Darkness in Inkopolis, I'm incredibly sorry for disappointing all of you. Believe me. I'm just as let down as all of you who were looking forward to it. If anything, it feels like I'm the only person on this planet that actually cared about DOI and what it could do in terms of testing me to my limits with storytelling. But because of everything that's been happening in my life, I just don't have the time to do all that.

However, if anyone still cares, there's another project that I'm working on and I'm gonna be continuing to work on until it is 100% complete. If anyone on this Steam Group knows about UNDERTALE or DELTARUNE, I've been working on a script for an animated series of the two games, allowing them to become one full story. Now, why am I doing this? Well, it's because I first played the games in November of 2021 (and fell in love with them), and I feel like they both have huge amounts of potential in terms of being one complete story.

I'm doing this series purely out of passion, and nothing more. I have a vision for this series, and I wanna show it off. I know it sounds dumb, but I'll do my best to make it as cinematic as I possibly can. I have the basics of the story written down and I the script is currently being worked on.

Now, this won't at all mean that I'm leaving this Steam Group. I'm not. I just have another passion that I have instead of DOI. I'll still be on this Group, being the owner and saying hi, but this is what I wanna do now.

Thank you so much to everyone who read this entire announcement for listening to what I had to say. I didn't wanna cancel DOI, but I'm not really sure if I have a choice. However, I'll be happy to discuss this new passion project to anyone who's interested.
