March 2021 Update: I've only advertised this group on Steamgifts (topic was closed a while ago) and recently on AWG (kinda) so I'm a bit puzzled to see 42 old pending requests.... Who are you, people? You never contacted me in any way. The group is half-dead for now so unless you are from AWG or SG, don't really expect to be accepted.

The Shark People is an invite-only group aimed towards gamers who prefer to play with themselves (AKA single player mode... ok this was a bad joke, I know) but would sometimes like to game with other non-competitive, all-around nice people who just wanna have fun and don't care about scores, ranking and making mistakes.

If you’re somewhat too shy to play with strangers and/or have had a bad experience going multiplayer, getting insulted, kicked out, told to git gud or gtfo, resulting in you wanting to belt out ♥♥♥♥ You, this group might be just what you need.

Why The Shark People, you may ask? First of all, I quite like Shark Attack Deathmatch 2, but there are not a lot of people playing so I thought it’d be great to know other nice peeps who want to shoot harpoons at each others and like to eat body parts (while assuming the appearance of a shark, that is. Any other people eating habits is at your own discretion). Also, the name is quite fitting, I think... as sharks are loners too.

Of course, this ain’t a group for Shark Attack enthusiasts only... any coop/multiplayer games go. So far, here are the games people have expressed an interest in playing with other peeps from time to time (but there are more in the discussion forum) :
