Hola guys. Since The Dead Linger is still under heavy development... This group isn't very active. I'm not suggesting a ditch or discontinuation of the group as the dead linger still has potential to become an actual.. playable.. game. Anyway, I've started a community with a friend of mine called VO. Well, the VO community itself has existed for a long time, but we officially rebranded it to Vignette Opposition Gaming. The community is paid for by a cheery british man named Fluff, and I help him do all the other stuff. If you're interested in joining (If I haven't already invited you), message me on steam and I'll shoot you group invites and what not. Again, I'm not trying to drain E.T.W, but there's 15 people here that I would like to have as part of my community.

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

I hope you all got plenty of candy, games, and secret/not-so-secret admirers!

Heya, since this group page has been dead as a horse being beaten, I thought I'd propose something. Since TDL isn't something we've been dedicated to playing (and probably won't be for a long while), I've wanted to start up a Garry's Mod server for us to commune and whatever on. I won't be hosting it, and none of you will be either. I've already found a hosting company which will provide excellent service at a low cost, now all thats left is to fund it. Whilst I know the majority of you do not have much of a source of income, you may be able to contribute something to the cause. Hosting a proper server with around 10 slots will be a total of 20$ per month. If you would like to donate, please contact me on steam and we can sort things out. For those of you wondering why we would even start a G-Mod server, well, touche. Seeing as the members that I regularly talk to seem to enjoy playing the game, I felt like this server would be the most appropriate way to go about having a regulated place to host events, or whatever. This is because you can do many, many more things with a Garry's Mod server than you can with say a CS:S or :GO server. Eventually, if things go well between this group and a few other of my acquaintences, I may open up the server to the public (20 or so slots). While this may seem like another soon-to-fail server pitch, it truly isn't if you guys are really looking for a clan-like structure and cooresponding etiquette. Again, if you'd like to donate, contact me on steam. I will probably be dishing out most of the cash, but if we can get a nice pool of funds to run the server off of before I purchase it that would be amazing. Note: I know some of you may not know me very well, thus you wouldn't be very eager to give me money (in fear of me spending it selfishly). I'm sure some other members will vouch for me (out of the 12 in this damn group, honestly), I will not, under any circumstances, spend any money originating from donations for any other cause except for hosting the server. While purchasing some serverscripts may be necessary later on, I will still ask for the donors' permission before I make any kind of investment on something other than the server.
