Wow… this game has literally risen from the dead. After two years of silence, the developer came back with a massive update—so much new content: survival, pirates, AI, and more. It’s honestly overwhelming in the best way. You completely caught me off guard… and yeah, I owe you an apology for doubting you 😄

The art alone is better then most if not all space games, the building is like no other games, its just the best game ever. with one developer there is a few things a little off like the UI is a little confusing/basic in my own personal opinion but its all depends on what each person like.

10/10 would buy again.
this game is not really for those who aren't really creative but there are pre-made builds you can look some up on the work shop

This game is Really fun, I haven't really gotten far past the early game of survival yet but for the most part I've been thoroughly enjoying myself.

So why the negative review then? You may be wondering.

Two words; Very buggy.

In my 11 hours of playtime on survival I've been consistently running into 3 bugs that have made my experience pretty frustrating to say the least.

For the first few hours everything was smooth sailing but that quickly went downhill, Firstly the game refused to close, forcing me to shut it down with Task manager only to find out it doesn't push autosaves, making me lose a full play session of progress (about 5 hours in this case).
(This only happened once in 11 hours so I can't speak on how frequently this might happen)

Then, after I decided to get a mining ship built another issue presented itself, I would click on my ores to move them into my arc furnace and they just magically turned into a seemingly random item like a tree, grass or a single iron ingot, making me lose hundreds of ores instantly.

I normally could forgive this on account of the game having just gone through a MASSIVE update and it being a solo developer but it really feels like this specific bug happens more often than not (like 60-70% of the time I go to smelt ore) and it's been a very frustrating experience to lose hundreds of ores because the game decided It didn't want me to have them.

Assemblers seem to randomly decide to fill their production queues with random junk (The aforementioned trees and grass which are craftable for some reason) which makes them waste tons of resources and can only be fixed by reloading the save from my experience.

Lastly, this is probably more a me thing but after the latest update it feels like my character's been glitching into terrain more, like, every time I take a drop but this is probably more to do with my low fps due to subpar hardware.


It's a shame too because when I actually managed to scrounge up the resources to build something I found the system to be very intuitive and fun to use, the ability to rescale parts dynamically is something I never knew I wanted in one of these games and I immediately fell in love with it.

Personally I think I'd give the developer some time to iron out the bugs with survival before purchasing the game. They've been really quick with the hotfixes these last few days so eventually things should become much more stable. but aside from that I would say it's worth the price.
