UPDATE 2: February 19, 2017: Automatically overwrites prior game file.
+Adjusted Collision Detection of enemies being hurt by player, requiring more precision when lining up attacks.
+Added new Orbitor Weapon option. You can have 2 or more orbitors rotating around the player for multi hit destruction.
+Bullets now much more effective when hitting foreground overlapping enemies while also going past barrels and boxes.
+Other minor adjustments and fixes.

To immediately test the new Orbitor weapon, select Practice mode and walk past the ? boxes, and you'll see a red small orb on the ground. Walk over it and it will activate the Orbitor.

+New Weapon Pick Up: The Orbitor rotates around the player like an option from Gradius, smashing into enemies and wiping them out. It moves slow enough that you'll have to time it so it'll hit the enemy you're aiming for if you're on the move, adding a new strategy to your attacks, or just a useful secondary weapon as you continue to fight. The difference between the Orbitor and the Orb Shield is the Orbitor is a tiny red orb that rotates clockwise, while the Orb Shield protects the player with a large shield.

Thanks to gamer feedback, Streets of Rott has been given the following improvements in Update 1. (More details found in Update - Discussion)

February 17, 2017: Size 520 MB, automatically overwrites prior game file.
+Adjusted Collision Detection of player being hurt by enemies to make it more forgiving.
+Added Blood Splat Effects & Worms OFF button by pressing the letter i key on your keyboard, as described in the game’s Options.
+Crawler enemy adjusted so he doesn’t crawl above player reach.
+Tall Door Zombies more forgiving and die on one shot from gun as well as with barrels, boxes, power shots.
+Some new enemy movement patterns.
+Backspace is the sole button to exit the program aside from exiting via the X button at the top left corner of the window. This frees up the F12 key. Esc is still the pause button.
+Other minor adjustments.

Engage for combat against the Rotter Hordes infesting your once peaceful city, as City of Rott: Streets of Rott is now available on Steam for PC, Mac and Linux! Relive the action from the movies, taking part in Fred’s epic quest for a new pair of shoes. Or choose the role of Max, as he scours the streets for a juicy Hamburger (fresh meat is rare in a city overrun with decay). And don’t forget about Sarah, who searches for her true self.

But their goals can only be fulfilled with your help. And wIth your fully packed arsenal of fighting moves, embrace your walker, circular saw or energy blades to dismember and eradicate the stinking Rott of the Streets. Only with sheer determination, careful timing and much skill can you destroy the evil Stalker, who sustains the Rott.

And don’t forget about the vehicles! Find slick skateboards, fast motorcycles and a clunker car to plow your way through the decay. Did your vehicle break down? Grab hold of handguns, shotguns, machine guns, explosive mines, defensive power shields and dirt digging shovels made to bury the Rott six feet under. With your weaponry, blast away at the junk cars, rubble, and debris in the path, taking down the undead with the resulting explosions. But watch out for chain reactions. One mistep and you could be engulfed in a firey death.

With eight plus open scrolling levels of beat ‘em up mayhem, experience City of Rott: Streets of Rott today, and help Fred, Max and Sarah keep the dead at bay. In this game, you’re free to backtrack if you want throughout each large level. No waiting for the screen to be cleared of enemies, just press forward to the goal. If you missed something or just want to take in the scenery, defeat the boss and explore the streets at your leisure.

Don’t like the Level Timer? Shut it off in the Options Menu, and while you’re there, change your amount of lives, listen to the game’s music, set the difficulty level from Easy, Normal to Hard, study the list of fighting moves, and tap into Remix Mode, which lets you experience the game in random level order, with random music tracks and random color backgrounds to keep the game fresh. And finally, Practice Mode allows you to test things out and learn the basics without getting overwhelmed.
