Balance Update 1.2 - April 6th

Today's update addresses some balance issues that were brought up in user feedback, while new content is still in the works.

General Changes:

Goblin: Increased starting money. \[+$5 -> +$10, new total: $20]
Wizard: Improved starting weapon targeting (now prioritizes older enemies, but still has a random range).
Endless Mode: Shop now remains locked when using Auto mode.
Shop: Upgraded shop items now cost 50% more.
Various bug fixes and performance improvements.

Item Changes:

Toxin: Damage increased. \[1 DMG -> 2 DMG]
Scythe: Damage increased. \[2 DMG -> 3 DMG]
Pet Rock: Damage increased. \[1 DMG -> 2 DMG]
Bone Club: Damage increased. \[1 DMG -> 2 DMG]
Fairy: Damage increased. \[1 DMG -> 2 DMG]
Weight: Increased base/upgraded damage buff. \[2/3 DMG -> 4/6 DMG]
Crown: Increased base/upgraded damage buff. \[1/2 DMG -> 2/4 DMG]
Frost Orbs: Damage increased. \[1 DMG -> 3 DMG]
Frost Orbs: Now deals DMG equal to current damage on cast rather than a fixed amount.
Mageblade: Buff duration increased. \[1s -> 2s]
Bear Claws: MP Cost improved. \[4 MP -> 3 MP]
Hairdryer: Knockback reduced. \[-25% knockback]
Monitor: Reduced explosion size. \[-20% size]
Dynamite: Cost increased. \[$5 -> $10]
Restore (Skill): Chance reduced. \[25% -> 10%]

This game is extremely fun. I am waiting for more classes, items, secrets, synergies.

Also I managed to break the FPS completely. Here is the recipe:
1. Get the bee hive.
2. Upgrade it. Use it as a money spinner.
3. Find and upgrade a bio chamber.
4. Get more bees. Bees have +10 dmg
5. Repeat until you have 6+ beehives with 100+ dmg per killer-bee.

Go Endless. Now you can buy anything in any quantity and watch the game struggle to run. Absolute cinema!

Seen the game on the channel HandofBlood and was sold after 8mins of the video.
Bought the game and have now spent some time with it myself, it's just as fantastic as I thought.

Roughly half an hour in I still feel like I'm just barely scratching the surface of the possible builds in this game and I love tinkering with them.

Esp at this price I can't recommend it more!

Good concept, fun time, really not much content at the moment. I've had some bad luck with runs and I was still able to get 100% in this amount of time. I still enjoyed it, and it was worth the money, but it would be nice if there was a little more to it.

Difficulty 5, actually endless, out-scaling the game and generating more money than I can spend, still maintains 20 FPS on a GTX 1080 lol

What's the furthest anyone has gotten on the first difficulty?

With the Wizard, I am currently on Endless 107, I might not even finish this run tonight because each round takes sooooo long, lol. Starts at 60FPS, instantly drops to 30, then 25, then it slowly trickles down until it's at 4-5.

Goblin : the hold R simulator

Playing as goblin at even the base difficulty, but especially higher is a miserable "hold R simulation". I have tried dozens of starter weapons - you get two shops to find a weapon+movement or pet that can solo the entire first wave, and you might be able to buy literally *nothing* in the second shop if you took too much damage in wave one. is this fun gameplay? Do people enjoy this? It feels like the goblin's design is "waste the player's time as much as possible". I'd like to benefit from the chea...

HELP - Can't Beat Difficulty 5

Please help me beat difficulty 5. I can only get to wave like 17. Any tips or combos or broken items I need to use in early to mid game? I struggle with early game and keep losing hp which means I lose money. Is there a class people think is the best for early game? I had the most success with goblin and mage, less tedious than knight which is a plus. Tips for my fellow strugglers: - Movement becomes a lot more important. I find Diagonal Ellipse is stronger than circle because it has 33% more speed and ca...
