doesn’t look the best and doesn’t have the best turn-based combat, but it’s very fun and I love the setting. Arizona cowboys in a post-apocalyptic world. the story is simple, but the dialogue is great. it’s a serious game with goofy moments, with a big emphasis on exploration, lots to see and things to kill. A must-play for every CRPG fan

Splitting items is extremely complicated in this game, it basically ruins the whole game. No where in the Controls menu does it say how to split items (for buying or moving from player to player).

The dialogues are far too long. Think too much time was put into flavour text, and not enough time into making the battles interesting and tactical. The battles seem to always play out the same. To be fair I haven't play for that long, I've probably only had to face about a dozen or so battles, but every single one was mechanical and didn't require much decision making.

Contrast this game to other tactical turn based games like DOS2, BG3, etc, in those games, every battle feels like an interesting puzzle to be solved - and can be solved in many ways. In Wasteland 2 it feels like each battle has pretty much 1 strategy. It's like playing chess but every piece is a rook - not much diversity and complexity.

Lot of potential in this game, just seems the first few hours haven't met my expectations.
