It's better than playing low-energy mobile games on an Android emulator when I'm feeling lazy.

I have played this game for 20+ hours and I have to say that it is cozy, fun and simple. There are so many different books that you can sell, so you can always try something new. If you want to sell only romance books, you can do that. If you want to sell only horror books, you can do that. I find that really nice that nothing is forced on you. I also like that you can sell stuff other than books (boardgames, candy + coffee/pastries). I also like that you can easily hire and fire employees very easily. The controls of the game are also super easy. I like that you pretty much get free range on how to set up the store and how many books you can sell...however, a HUGE drawback of the game is how many customers come in the bookstore each day and how many books they buy. First, when you are stocking books by yourself or you are doing the cashier by yourself, it is a LOT of work. A majority of the customers buy so many books (which sounds good in theory) that you have to constantly restock books multiple times in the same day. So yes, it is very easy to make money in the game because of this, but it is kind of a pain to always have to worry about keeping the books stocked. Due to this issue, I am finding that I spend a majority of my time buying a ton of books in the morning (before even opening the store) and then having to stock it up as well as having a tremendous amount of boxes of books to restock FOR THAT SAME DAY. The amount of books you go through in one day is so insane that there is a huge stocking issue. There are so many boxes and it is pretty overwhelming. In one of my bookshops, I hired 3 stockers and even that is barely enough. Another drawback is that you don't have any personal interactions with customers. You don't get to speak to them at all. The game would be way more fun if you could interact with them or even just have them say something cute or funny sometimes. Additionally, I wished there were certain aspects in the game that I could *strive* to achieve. I enjoy games where there are objectives. I found that after the tutorial was over, there were no objectives at all. Yes, you need to level up in order to get employees and to get a cafe, but that's it. Now that I have a cafe, there isn't really much else to strive for. . So, the game is less fun because I have nothing more to achieve except get more money. The last thing that really bothers me is that my employee for the cafe does not stock up coffee in the coffee holder. If they are not with a customer, they just stand there not doing anything. I don't understand why the barista doesn't stock up coffee when they have free time. It takes them so long to make coffee and the line backs up so long that I find myself stocking it for them. All in all, I have high hopes for this game and I definitely enjoy playing it, but I hope to see future updates!
