• Improved performance with levels that use a lot of decos

• Added "Deco Shader" event. These can be applied to decorations, as well as the player through the "Force Player Sprite" event. If you don't have any experience with writing shaders this event may be a bit hard to use, but we will work on making it more user friendly through presets in the future.

  • When creating levels with shaders, please keep users who might be playing on lower end devices in mind! If your effect is laggy on weaker devices, consider simplifying it.

• Notes are now recolorable through note properties, a new event (Recolor notes), and ease sequences

• Added [c]noteVolume[/c] easable. This has no effect above its default value of 1, so use it to make notes quieter

• Added [c]rtf.timeScale[/c] ease, to make text decorations update faster or slower

• (added in last update but forgot to mention) made ease sequences less annoying to edit, removed auto sorting

• Boolean values that default to false no longer require two clicks to enable

• Changed how VFX angle is calculated for notes, now uses ease sequence distance if that is applicable. For the old behavior that ignores ease sequence distance, set [c]vfx.useVFXDistanceForVFXAngle[/c] to false

• Fixed toggle particles event for mineholds

• Added shift+play keybind for "play from last bookmark"

Rhythm Doctor is a fantastic rhythm game that we're big fans of, and we're excited to announce that público cautivo is headed to their game as a playable song! Additionally, Rhythm Doctor and Beatblock are now available together as a bundle, so you can have more tunes to groove to when you're beating blocks or saving lives. If you've been thinking about picking up more rhythm games- whether you're a beginner or an expert- give it a shot!

In case you didn't catch it last time, here's our roadmap for the upcoming spring season! There's a lot more in store, and some songs that'll potentially destroy your controllers. We're looking forward to revealing what's next!
As a further look ahead: once we're past May, our flow of new content will slow down as we work on debugging the game and refining our current features (and adding new ones, too!) That doesn't mean no more songs, but we want to ensure our full release can launch in its best possible form!

We're back in full swing (though the winter chill hasn't left yet,) and are raring to go for this coming year! Thank you very much for your continued support- there are some big plans in motion, and we count ourselves very lucky to be able to do so with such a dedicated playerbase.
