i lost my main save file to a power surge is there a way to recover it?

I've played through to the scene where you have Benson follow you, and head up to the farm for the first time. The dialogue with Bleshy and Duncan plays out and then the game freezes and crashes. Does anyone else have this issue? Now when I attempt to load the save file it just freezes/crashes again upon load-up. I wouldn't make a post usually but it's happened two time now, and I don't want to try a third play through if this is just going to kill the game again for me....

I cut the tree down to get to the witch hut, and the quest completed when I went into the house, but did not complete in my quest log. When I exited the hut the tree was back and now I cannot even leave that area. It will not let me cut the tree down. What am I missing? I don't have any recipes to create any potion as of yet.......

hey guys. i have full gold gear with full plates. i have 50 reinc points - 6 strength - 6 efficiency - 3 defence - 1 hp - 1 presicion and 6 hp pots. i tried to use other pots but it seems that i cant use them. what gems to use in gear? any tips? thanks a lot for the help...

Is there a way that I am missing to have the game automatically spend xp after a cave loop? I beat floor 100 a while ago, so I am trying to get to 50 reincarnations and it's a bit of a slog. My gameplay loop is reincarnate, loop to floor 10 a couple times (because I am weaker and slower), manually stop to spend xp, then loop to floor 40 or 50 a couple times, manually stop, spend exp, then raise the loop to get to max xp. Is there an auto feature that I am missing, or is this the intended way to do it?...
