It has been a while since we reached out the last time - we know - though, considering what we are preparing for you right now, we hope that you can forgive us in some way:

We want to invite you to our first official closed beta test for Surviving Deponia, our newest narrative-driven Survival spectacle!

In the past months we have put blood, sweat and a looots of tears into the game, made decisions, eventually changed those decisions again and reworked chunks of the general game flow.
Obviously, the fine tuning ahead of us is redundant if we don’t listen to you, our dedicated Deponia Community, that supported us through all those years.

This is why starting 30th of march, we will have our Surviving Deponia Closed Beta Playtest running. You will be able to play the first area of the game and get familiar with the gameplay and storyline. Afterwards we would appreciate it if you take a few minutes of your time and answer our Closed Beta Survey, so we can get right to the gritty details of your feedback and you can make your voice heard.

DISCLAIMER: Since we are working with an international team and the playtest shows an in-development progress that is in most cases not finalized, the playtest will be in english only - german and additional languages will follow for the final release.

We would kindly ask you not to stream or share your experience online (Youtube/Twitch), as this can often lead to misunderstandings in the future about different (early) versions and states of the game.
