Just making sure people understand this. While they are removing the epic store account requirement, EPIC Online Services, will still need to be downloaded for you to play the game. If it is like EDF6, it is integrated into the game.

I've played only EDF 4.1, how does this compare?

have they not learned the egs / eos thing from EDF6? yeah sure they put it in its release announcements and all but people hate 3rd party logins or connections especial when it is from epic games yeah sure it says it wont require an egs account to log in but that does not mean they wont try to stealth install the malware onto your computer if you install the game they said they would remove egs from edf6 and months later it is still there... i dont trust d3 anymore unless if it is 50% or free now...
