Hello, everyone! We're back with a new update! We promised to be more present this year, so here we are.

We are proud to present Chapter 3 of 8th Heaven. This is a very important chapter because it marks the game's entry into the end of the first arc. So far, the main story of 8th Heaven does not contain much NSFW content. These are mainly found in secondary activities, battles, and character dating. Chapter 4, scheduled for release this summer, will be an important turning point in the story, and the transition into a more adult and darker part of this mysterious paradise island.

The release of 8th Heaven 1.0 will be followed by a hugh roadmap, which will allow fans to continue the story, as previously discussed in a devlog. Of course, the cozy atmosphere of the game will remain important, but we have a very specific story to tell, and it needs to convey a range of emotions.

We hope you enjoy this new chapter! See you in spring for the next update, which will focus on dildo farming, new NSFW scenes, and lots of new sandbox mechanics!

This update adds Chapter 3, titled Where No One Goes. We also fixed quite a few weird bugs and added a new character with his first NSFW scene. We wanted to revamp the entire soda shop system, but we ended up postponing it until the next update, since we're currently reworking the entire loot and item system.

Anyway, here are the patch notes!

• Chapter 3 - It's finally time to celebrate Steve's birthday! But... things aren't going as planned. The chapter includes a new investigation section, puzzles, and new mini-games!

• Residents and moneybags give you a little less money.

• You only need to sleep one night at the beginning of Chapter 2.

• Various level design adjustments.

• A new Steam achievement.

• Cutscene camera bug in Chapter 2.

• Various pacing bugs in dialogues.

• When you sleep, NPCs are now reset to their right locations.

• Chapter 02 sometimes fails to launch.

• You could interact with ghost NPCs during cutscenes.

Previous saves are compatible with this update. But if you encounter any bugs, feel free to create a new save or restart the game.

And it's normal that Dimitri doesn't disappear at the end of Chapter 3, even though he's not supposed to be there. This is to allow people to continue farming and interacting with him until the next Chapter.
