best extraction game currently on the market and its not even close.

Decent roguelite looter shooter that you can actually complete even though it's in Early Access (rare!). Guns feel fun to shoot, simplified Tarkov-like inventory management adds nice depth to looting, enemy variety is actually really good and they constantly throw some new mechanics at you all throughout, it doesn't get boring until the end.

The game does have one flaw, though - it's just too easy. I only died once throughout the whole game in the first 3 hours due to simple inattentiveness. There's an overabundance of healing items around every corner, opening your inventory pauses the game Skyrim-style and bosses, while really cool in presentation, just don't ever deal enough damage to outpace your healing abilities. Not to mention that some weapons and trinkets are just borderline overpowered (looking at you, Ploika and Detective Pipe...).
I feel like this could be fixed by not pausing the game during inventory, maybe have slow-mo akin to Doom Eternal's radial menu that turns off if you hold it for too long?

Overall SULFUR is really solid, though, doesn't even feel Early Access at all. And the OST is banging, too.
