Stutters occur when moving between rooms and opening doors. Also, Vsync doesn't work properly. When Vsync is on, it looks like I'm stuck at 30 fps. I get smoother gameplay when Vsync is off. Any solutions? i7 4790 GTX 1080 16Gb RAM SSD

Maybe I'm wrong here since it's been many years since I've played the original, but I was playing the new version, and I didn't get very far because everything seems to look worse somehow. Did they even upgrade the graphics on this? I can't really see the improvements, and everything feels less colorful then I remember when I played the original. Did they think that improved graphics means making everything less saturated? I'm so confused. I was expecting everything to look better....

Do I get a discount or anything? Or do I really have to re-buy this?
