I am Jesus Christ launches on Steam on April 2, 2026!

This date is also Holy (Maundy) Thursday in the Western Christian tradition, and it falls about 10 days before Easter in many Eastern traditions in 2026. It’s a big moment for our team, and we’re excited to spend these last months polishing the experience and delivering the best version of the game we can.

Over the next months, we’ll focus on making the experience more meaningful, more interactive, and easier to follow so it feels like a journey with purpose, not just a list of events.

• Quests with a deeper meaning
  We’re improving quests so they don’t only describe what happened, but also help explain why Jesus acted and what His works mean.

• More gameplay inside story moments
  From your feedback, we see that scenes with gameplay are easier to enjoy than long narration. So we’re adding more “playable” story beats.

• Expanding existing missions with new gameplay threads
  We’re revisiting current content and adding new parts and interactions so missions flow better and feel more engaging.

• Growing the idea: Christian teaching through play
  Our goal is to use games to share Christian teachings in a way that feels natural. Faith and message built into fun gameplay.

The Steam Festival kicks off today, and we’re celebrating with a refreshed I Am Jesus Christ demo. While we continue building the full game, we took time to polish and significantly expand the demo you played during the last Playtests.

• Audio & Dialogue

  • Gameplay and dialogue audio have been reworked for clarity and impact.

  • Final mixing is still in progress, but you should already feel a big step up.

• Temptation in the Desert - Redesigned

  • This chapter has been rebuilt from the ground up.

  • Starts with a cinematic and evolves into dialogue with a manifestation of Satan in a darker tone, interwoven with short mini-games.

  • It’s one of the standout moments, we highly recommend trying it!

• Dialogue Revisions

  • We refined the writing to better reflect the events described in the Bible and to incorporate your feedback from previous sessions.

• Performance & Optimization

  • Expect higher FPS and smoother traversal across the entire playable area.

  • Many of you reached places we hadn’t planned for in the demo (like Jerusalem). We listened and optimized those areas as well.

• Visuals & Animation

  • Enhanced character animation and facial expressions for more natural conversations.

  • Improved environmental effects and overall visual fidelity to deepen immersion.
