Why isn't a nation raiding your provinces repeatedly enough justification for war I go to war on Numidia after they repeatedly raided my provinces and get a message saying it was with no real justification ( which I'm guessing makes other nations less friendly towards mine?)...

I'm very interested in this game, but I have a question—as the thread title suggests: Does this game include domestic politics? For example, is there a Roman Senate, and are there (then) votes or elections in the countries? In any case, I wish you all a good time (with the game)....

Looking for a new deep tbs game to sink into

I was playing Rome and I know to pace myself with conquests. I had all of Italy, most of Sicily, Massilia, Corsica, half of Sardinia, Malta and a good foothold in Spain, from Massilia to Cartagena (New Carthage). I then drew 3 objectives into North Africa all clustered around Tunes, how fortunate for me! Not so. I had gone about 15 years without a decent national leader and I could not draw a Roman national leader that had anything but negative modifiers. I had 3 Roman armies, 3 fleets and a small defens...
