Genuinely a fantastic CoD game, and one of the best WW2 shooters out there. Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies are amazing experiences all around. Despite this, I am leaving a bad review because my friend got the game recently, and he was unable to play it with me because Activision ran out of CD keys for the game, and therefore no one else is able to create an account within the game for the multiplayer. Since I bought the game on steam well over 12 years ago, I don't have this issue, but it makes introducing new players to this game or playing multiplayer or coop with your friends impossible. From checking forum posts, looks like this issue has been around for years now.

Good purely single player game, but I cannot recommend in good faith because of the broken multiplayer. A fix for this could be implemented because a multi-billion dollar company certainly has the resources to do so, but it seems like Activision is content to let one of the best world war 2 shooters of all time rot on the vine out of laziness or greed.

Any keys currently sold can not run multiplayer. YOU CAN NOT PLAY MULTIPLAYER, INCLUDING LAN COOP, IF YOU BUY THE GAME CURRENTLY.

There are a handful of possible workarounds, including 3rd party launchers and VPN-LAN's, but none of them worked for my friend group so we ended up giving up. It's a real damn shame, but this game should not be getting sold without warning in this condition.

The single player of Call Of Duty World at War was very dark, gritty and bloody realistically expected. I enjoyed it both the USA and Soviet story modes but the Soviet story was better in my opinion not that the USA story was not good it was good too storming the beaches, the castle, using flamethrower, using knifes on guns, etc. This small features in the USA and Soviet single player campaign added more realistic approach to the video game which was a necessary bonus to make the game even better. There are a few levels where you get to drive air and ground vehicles such as a tank with a flame thrower. As for multiplayer and zombies they can be played up to date with something known as the Plutonium Launcher which you can get separated and still find servers that are active with players and also play on modern computers and operating systems. It adds extra value to the package for sure. I got the video game while it was on sale for lesser price because I wanted to experience World War 2 and also the more darker boots on the ground old school combat of multiplayer back in the day compare to the newer titles of Call Of Duty. I strongly recommend this Call Of Duty title to everyone who enjoys some of the older Call Of Duty games made by Treyarch and experience some of the classic combat and also guns and attachments, and perks. Overall very good and worth for your money as it was expected. I highly recommend it for anyone. This game can be greatly played with friends too if you want to enjoy a World War 2 title first person shooter video game from early days.
