Bought it on launch with the deluxe edition which promised all future DLC and i enjoyed it immensely. Content trickled in and kept me around for a bit. Now the Deluxe edition has vanished replaced with an all new "Ultimate edition" which now includes all DLC *PLUS* the pathogen expansion. Mind you, this new Ultimate Edition is ALSO CHEAPER THAN THE DELUXE EDITION THAT NO LONGER EXISTS!!!!!!!!

Ripping your playerbase off to get some extra money is poor business and is ensuring the death of the franchise.

The playerbase has dwindled to almost non-existent and the devs lock comments on discussions about their DLC shenanigans. I had a great time while this game was worth playing. Watch playthroughs or ask a friend about it. the content available is not worth anymore than 30-40 dollars.

I'm so incredibly disappointed in what's happened to me and hundreds and thousands of players who wanted to go on a Bug Hunt.

For reference, i paid $140 for 2 copies of Fireteam Elite Deluxe edition for myself and one of my good friends and when finally, after almost a year, new content is released and we have to shill out even more for DLC that's less than a quarter of the main game's content. Completely unacceptable. I wish i could get my money back from these deceiving, greedy, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
