I have multiple accounts. Like two mains and four throwaways and I have used them all to post here and a bunch of other subreddits but it's always the same ♥♥♥♥. Spend a hour or more typing up a post, making sure its interesting, includes how I want to be contacted and answering questions the reader may have and I usually do a good job. Almost every time I posted I got at least 7 thumbs up and the highest amount I had was 28 thumbs up on r4r so I at least know most of the readers liked what I had to say. Then like 15 or so minutes I have like 20 messages.

I like attention just like any other person but most of the responses I get are ♥♥♥♥. Over a hour or writing and thinking about what to say and I get responses like "Let's chat" "Want to chat?" "You seem cool let's chat" "Do you have kik?" the usual perverted comments. Sometimes I get different ones but they are still pretty bad like "My name is Chris. I like video games, fishing, hunting and listening to music. Let's chat on skype" and my first reaction is

"Dear God this person is gonna be a terrible conversationalist. I usually don't reply to those type of comments but sometimes I get another message from them being like "Why didn't you reply? :(" then I feel a bit bad and give them a chance and it turns out they are just as bad of a conversationalist as I thought they were. Then I get the really long ones like the person is sending me an autobiography of their lives and that's even worse =/ A wall of text with nothing to answer to. I do ask questions and rarely the person answers them then asks me the same question and I reply then that's it. Usually I wait at least a half hour before responding and by then I have like 112 messages and I read them all and most of them are crap. I maybe find 4 responses that make me think "Oh, this person seems kinda fun" then I message them and they are just as boring as the other people that contacted me. It's very rare I find anyone good.

I've been here for over 2 years and I only found two people that were good. Some aspie guy from sweden and another dude from florida. They both are long gone. Stupidly rushed into a relationship with one guy after knowing him for three months and that relationship lasted two weeks because it was mainly limerance on his part and the other guy lasted as a friend for a little while then was like "Who cares if I don't have friends? I'll just go to club and drink with coworkers and I'll be okay.
