'Well I'd say thats worth 10/10!'

Over 35 hours in. RPG fans just buy it! You'll love it!

(played the original for about 200 hours. As well as the other related titles such as Valkyrie profile on the ps1 etc)

Was very worried about this new version but it ticks all the right boxes.

-The combat is still fast and smooth.
-The new VO at least for Claude and Rena are great and close to the original.
-Characters now chat with each other during exploration (tails of destiny style)
-If you're not a fan of the new art you can turn it off (the stills are a bit weird in my opinion when they talk)
-The new graphics are beautiful, literally,
-You can still use the original soundtrack over the arranged (boy did I miss that soundtrack)

So far this is everything a star ocean fan could dream of.
