This is a great metroidvania with beautiful pixel art, character design, and amazing music (like "I bought the OST on Bandcamp amazing").

Its weakest point is that it is very hard to maintain a “sexy” atmosphere for the 10 hrs it takes to finish the game and while at the beginning, it all falls into place. At the end, the NSFW elements become normalized and lose a bit of their appeal. There was a point in the game in which the moans every time you kill a female enemy got tiring...

Don’t get me wrong, the pixel art and the NSFW scenes were very well done (even if they lack a bit of variety) but the actual game was what got me through the finish line.

Anyways, I'm rambling. It's a great game and if you like NSFW games, I'm sure this is one of the best ones.

A short game that throws you directly into the action as you try to exit a metro station and things ... don't look quite right.

This game gets the obsessive, nit-picky and paranoid part of your brain going. It keeps you on your toes and when you miss something that was wrong, it gives you the feeling of both distrust in your senses and despair at starting from scratch again and again

Really enjoyed the experience.

Norco is a point and click adventure/mystery game set in a not that different future of our own. Poverty, corruption - all still there but with better robots and drones.

The game starts great, the first two acts are really something special. Unfortunately, for me the ending doesn't quite land as well.

Still, the game overall is something great to experience, the best part of it are on those first two acts and some of those scenes will stay in my head for quite a bit.

The art is beautiful and its used extremelly well. The music helps to set the mood of the experience. Finally, the writing is consistently great with a couple of spots in which it shines.

I found this game while searching for similar games to Kentucky Route Zero and it didn't dissapoint. While not the same, it scratches the itch.

It promises pools and it delivers pools, so many pools 🏊‍♂️

The premise of the game is simple - you are trapped (maybe?) in an sprawling maze (with a lot of pools) and you must find your way through. What makes the game really shine and stand out is the way is the way the game spaces makes you feel. The game, on its best moments, deliver a mixture of being at peace and on edge.

Would definitely take another plunge If I ever get a VR machine.

This game is not for everyone but if literal "walking simulators" through eery and creepy spaces sound like your jam, then this is for you.

It's perfect for the season, a bite-sized spooky game that oozes creepiness and delivers a dark fairytale-esque world in spades. I would buy it again just for the visual style; it has a low poly yet textured look that I love.

The gameplay is fun and the mystery is interesting, just a big heads up, pay a lot of attention. If you do its easy to solve, if not you might spend some time going around in circles...like me.

It costs the same as a sandwich so do yourself a favor and take a big bite out of this game.

While We Wait Here caught my eye with an interesting premise. The apocalypse is happening, you are locked in a diner with your last clients. Talk with them and pass the time before your inevitable end. That was the pitch I got sold. It's in the game description: "Share thoughts and hot food with your last ever clients, as you wait for the world to end."

But in the end, that premise is never realized. The writing of this game is really stiff, and the delivery usually doesn't help. The story takes some turns that make you scratch your head (aliens, really?) and it never picks up the pace. The cooking also feels disconnected from the rest of the game and is not really a fun or interesting mechanic. The final slap in the face is that the apocalypse doesn't really happen.

The game was 2.5 hours long but I felt I had played for longer. Honestly, I'm very surprised it has such a high ranking

Honestly, I got the game due to “horny” curiosity but the game blew me out of the water, it is really good!

The bullet hell is really well done, the art style is captivating and has lots of charm, the character design is great. The story is funny and doesn’t take itself seriously. Hell, even the soundtrack is a good chiptune album.

It was way more than what I expected and I'm absolutely here for whatever the devs release next

The game takes around 3 hours to complete from beginning to end. The perfect length for a mainly narrative game, it keeps things moving and tension high. You never feel the game overstays its welcome.

The story kept me invested and reading every little letter and message I found.

While playing I kept thinking, this would be the perfect game to introduce a couple of nieces to horror games. It is a modern Goosebumps. On the top of my head I don't think there are a lot of games like that, maybe Oxenfree?

Anyways, great game. Enjoyed it a lot.

If you liked Mouthwashing and want something more easy going this is a good fit.
If you liked Oxenfree or Omori, you might like this one too.

I've followed this game since its announcement. My job is related to data visualization so I was wondering how a game with a big data viz component might look like and Voilà! This game was announced.

Pocket Boss is a short experience that puts you in the shoes of an employee dealing with the increasingly demanding requests to manipulate and “clean” data coming from your boss to please the needs of the “higher-ups”. Interacting with the graphs to manipulate by pulling, pushing them or throwing them around was interesting and the graphs themselves were visually nice.

To be honest, the game suffered from inflated expectations on my end. So, I ended up a bit dissapointed but its not the game or developers fault. I was expecting something similar in scope to Time Flies, an amazing game released by this developer earlier this year.

Overall, the game was interesting and, while it had issues, I would play it again no questions asked. Its also cheaper than a coffee, so why not give it a try and reach peak efficiency.

Crow County is a love letter to the PS1 era of survival horror games but it is also more. It manages to create a game that feels nostalgic and new at the same time.

The low-poly visuals are beautiful and the art direction of the game was really well done. The music has a couple of amazing tracks. There are a couple that make me go "If this was released in the 90s, these songs would receive the Silent Hill´s Promise treatments, lots of covers"

What really ties the game together for me is the ending and the reveal of the mystery. The game goes from good to GREAT at that point.

If you like games like:
- Threshold
- Mouthwashing
- Sorry We're Closed
- Fear the Spotlight
This might be up your alley.
