I have 1800+ hours in Dying Light and the same in Dying Light 2 and I cannot wait to do the same with The Beast. It is amazing. I love how it seems to be DL1 and The Following DLC in 1 game. The parkour and fighting is exactly what you would expect from a Dying Light game and so far the story is engaging and enjoyable. The game also looks great and runs very smoothly even on my lower end system. Techland should be proud, this really is a beast of a game. Now we just need a new game telling the story of Aiden and Spike's adventures leading up to The Beast.

A short yet sweet story driven game set on an orbital space station. You unravel the story and get to know the 6 inhabitants by exploration and Augmented Reality. If you like gentle story games that are well crafted and pleasing to play then this will suit you.

I have had a blast playing this game. It's funny yet serious and very, very clever. The gameplay is satisfying yet can be frustrating but that is part of its charm. The in-jokes and 1960s' pop culture references are absolutely spot on (Mr Kite told me to say that) and I found myself having an out loud chuckle to myself here and there. The art style is great, whether you are on your Joy or not and fits the time it is set in perfectly. Snug as a Bug on a Drug.

I love the parkour even though the jumping is a little "spongy" feeling compared to Dying Light 1. I like the fighting mechanics and factions being a thing. The story is decent and kept my attention just fine. I like the Water Tower/Power Station side quests where you give control to a resource to one faction (Survivors yo). Co-op between friends is great and works well for the most part. 8/10 for me. Good to see it still getting updates in 2025.

I've been playing this game 17 years and I'm not sure it's for me. It's fun and everything but I probably need to play a few more hours to see if I truly like it enough to make a commitment. I would recommend it though, it has hats.

This game makes me lie a lot. But the cake was also a lie.
