100%'d the game.

There's some good, some bad. But it's a fairly solid game.

I like the card game itself, seems fun with a lot of decks working for most opponents bar the secret one. The AI is my main issue. I've had moments where I flubbed and the AI has had lethal on board only to, instead of attacking me directly, would kill his monsters into one of mine which just sets me up to win off of that. Not very fun to get a win because the AI doesn't know what it's doing.

The battler itself is a little janky. It's hard to tell what phase you're on if you didn't pay attention to what popped up. Got mad when I was battling the secret boss and lost my chance at a win because I discarded, couldn't remember if I discarded, and hit next to go to the slot in phase- but instead went into attack so i couldn't play the spell I needed to win the battle. My fault, yea, but could've been avoided if there was a more apparent way to check what phase you're in.

Card art? Peak. No notes really, it's all great and I'm glad it's not AI slop. Favorite soul? Toad Wizard. Favorite spell? Burn With Me.

Farming for Card Shards kinda sucks. I ended up increasing the speed of the game to just blast through fishing (the ten lump quest was a lil rough) then got the rest through dueling.

Would've been nice to have multiple deck options, but I believe the new game is going to have that so moot point there.

Genuinely looking forward to the next game if it expands upon the groundwork here.

Power going off means you can't get gas but for some stupid reason house alarms still work?

Pretty sure this game is designed by some idiot who doesn't know how things work. What little it does right is vastly overshadowed by how wrong it gets things.

No one plays in my region so I can't play the game anymore.

I love being forced to make another account on another launcher to play a game on steam.

Fallguy Devs are terrible people, as are the EGS losers.

Can't really recommend.
