Resident Evil Requiem is as close as it gets to a masterpiece, in my opinion, and what seems to be the general feel of the game. We're living the modern peak era of the franchise, thanks to some great remakes, and new installments. Can't wait for what's coming in the next 3 years, and according to the rumors, we're eating good.

Now, RE Requiem has two types of gameplay, and they intertwined really good and very smoothly. Grace's gameplay is more in line with the survival horror, slow paced, and more horror, while Leon has a more action-packed gameplay style (without going full RE 6). Both offer a good gameplay without overstaying their welcome. You will be mixed between the two, and swap at different parts of the game so you never feel overwhelmed with either gameplay. I gotta say, Grace's sections got me quite uncomfortable at the beginning.

The characters are very good. Now, we all know Leon, but we get to see him a little bit more vulnerable on the whole Racoon City incident with some cool throwbacks to RE2, and going back to RC was an amazing choice to his character arc. On the other side, Grace, wow, this character is amazingly written and the VA delivered a top notch performance (same as the rest, but I got to make a special mentioned to her because it truly feels alive as a newcomer)

I fully recommend this game to any fan of the series, and to the newcomers as well, welcome to another peak Resi era we're living.

I've been playing all CoD games from the very beginning, and after many good, mixed, and bad games I've come back to another WW II themed campaign, and I gotta say that I didn't have any expectations from this game, but what I found was a very fun, refreshing, short and entertaining campaign with some great performances. I enjoyed the chemistry between the cast, and the actors really did a great job portraying the characters. I loved the dynamic between Turner and Pierson, like the good cop / bad cop scenario.

I recommend this game, but only if you're planning on playing the campaign, and if on sale. Not worth $60 nowadays only to play that. And even on sale, CoD sales are not very good over here, but that's another topic.

Good and fun WW II game.

RE5 is a good game, corny, interesting, and specially fun if you play it in co-op, because honestly that's the big selling point. I respect Capcom for being risky with this game. However, once you moved from the first chapter (which in my opinion is the best because it actually sets a tone that feels unique to the game), you'll notice how the game is more an action oriented game, which is not a bad thing, but a bad thing if you are thinking RE style solely.

I've already played this game multiple times on PS3, now with a friend on PC. Got the plat on the OG game and it was very fun, now getting it on PC was fun as well. If you have a partner, you'll have a blast, because the game is actually very fun on co-op, and while the newer RE games have a much better gameplay, this one hasn't aged that bad, but you gotta get used to the older type of gameplay, similar to RE4, it bring a lot from it from a gameplay perspective. Once you get used to it, it's not bad but I appreciate the changes on the newer games.

The Gold Edition comes with 2 DLCs, which are Desperate Escapes and Lost in Nightmares. These are two tie-in episodes that tell the story of familiar characters. The first one is just more RE5 style, action oriented, but the Lost in Nightmares one is actually more in line with the classic RE style. It's a little bit uncomfortable, it's not action oriented, and more puzzle based. They're fun on their own.

Multiplayer modes are dead, and not the point of this game. This was back in the day when every game needed an online MP mode to keep it afloat, because trends. Don't think about them.

Buy it for co-op, is super fun. I recommend this game if you plan to play on co-op, otherwise might not be as interesting to you, but who knows. I still enjoyed it either way.

Binary Domain is a cheesy third person shooter game from SEGA that pretty much came out under the radar. I first heard of this game when it was given for free as a monthly PS+ game on PS3. I've always wanted to play it and the Steam Deck has given me the option to play these older games, and let me tell you I had a great time with it. Firstly, this game plays great on the Deck, but expect deeps to the 40s if you are on the highest settings. Played through it on the Deck only.

Now regarding the game, this is surprisingly a very solid TPS. The gameplay is fantastic, shooting is very solid, but it has a small amount of weapons. Pretty much 1 for every kind, except one or two, like the Assault Rifle where you have your main one and can sometimes pickup a 2nd different one as a secondary weapon. So no, there's not a lot of freedom to customize your weapon set, but you can change dynamics by changing your secondary weapon on the go.

The game has these "nanomachines" which function as your passive perks, that you can equip on all the cast of characters, even the ones you don't control. There are a lot of characters that accompany you along the story, and to my surprise the game has some heavy hitters for the English VO like Laura Bailey or Troy Baker. These are two of my favorite all-time VAs, and was a nice surprise hearing them here.

The story is pretty cheesy, cliche, but it has its surprising moments. Won't spoil it, but I enjoy it a lot. You get a lot of cutscenes, and a few optional conversations that give a little bit more info on the cast's personality, but don't expect a RDR2 level of narrative. It's just fun, and enjoyable. I liked it a lot.

No comments on the MP modes, the game is dead at this point so only buy it if you want to experience the campaign.

Pretty fun game, give it a try!

Do you like to play bad games as a guilty pleasure? Go for it. Is the game dirt cheap? Sure. Do you like Alien? Well, at this point you might as well play it. But seriously, only play this if you answer yes to these questions. Otherwise, there are way better games out there. I just happen to play bad games as a guilty pleasure. Please take this into account, as this is a very conditioned recommended review.

Ok, if you want a really really good Alien game, go play Isolation, plain and simple. Now, Aliens Colonial Marines suffered one of the firsts popular downgrades during E3 2012, and people are too hung up on that demo and think "Oh the game we could've gotten." And I'll be honest, that game was maybe there graphically speaking, because all the stuff behind that shiny demo, I guarantee you, it was still going to be the same thing and everything would've turned out the same.

With that being said. Aliens CM is an interesting game, it has some cool references to the source material, there's some love there but it never quite gets there on what it tries to achieve. Some vistas look very good, and some areas have a good atmosphere. You will visit some familiar places like LV-426, features familiar cameos, and there are some good moments through out the campaign, but don't think your're going to get an amazing story telling experience. It's a cheesy, and predictable campaign. I liked it.

Gunplay, oof, this is one is a hard miss. Some weapons feel good, like the shotguns are amazing to pulverize Xenos, but others like the Pulse Rifle feels very off, and it always feels like you're not hitting anyone. Don't know, it always feels weird to shoot. Xeno fights = fun, Humans = not so much because of this, and feels unbalanced.

Regarding the AI, PLEASE search how to fix this, as it's a very simple typo fix to do that improves the game, because it fixes the AI, but don't think it's an amazing AI because of this. It will still cheat, and you will see the enemies, specially Xenos, pass through and ignore your teammates to get to you. Didn't like that.

At this point getting the Collection is basically super cheap, which has the positive of getting the Interrupted Stasis DLC, which is a fun small campaign featuring a familiar character. It's a tie in between Aliens and Alien 3.

I can't comment on MP, or the other modes, because they are basically dead unless you play with friends.

And always remember: Gearbox fckd up this game, as they blatantly shifted resources to Borderlands 2 and just wanted this game out of the way, did wrong on the franchise and the player base.

RIP Arkane Studios.

Prey is an absolute masterpiece that should get more attention! This game plays amazingly, great combat, exploration, tons of skills and weapons to shape your play-style. It's is very easy to run, as I played this on a GTX 1050ti and a Ryzen 1600 @ 60 fps a few years ago, so I believe you'll have no issues playing this with amazing performance.

If you love sci-fi, this is a great game to play. Fantastic game design, good and well designed enemies, and can get spooky sometimes.

And oh man, the ending... Just, wow. Loved it.

Oh, KOTOR II. We've all know that the sequel is somewhat subpar to the original game due to all what happened during development, the cut content, and the game being rushed for a holiday release just because they wanted that holiday cash.

Even with all that, I think this game is amazing. As a massive KOTOR fan, I decided to play this just when the modern patch (which has the restored contend mod) was released and this is a whole new game, which made my experience so much better than playing the first one on modern systems. You can't go wrong with this game, you have a great Star Wars world to explore, with new planets not featured on the first game, new characters, and while the ending might not be everyone's cup of tea, I still enjoyed this amazing journey. Same with the first one, you have the power of choice, which can impact outcomes, the ending, and your relationship statuses with your companions.

This is truly an amazing game! Just wish KOTOR I could get a patch to get it up to speed on modern systems. But, please play the first one first! Once you play these two games, you'll understand where the praise for the OG BioWare came from, and where Mass Effect was built from.

I enjoyed this game quite a bit. It's a very anime-esque, story driven game. This is your typical monster hunting kind of game and I'd say this is a lite Monster Hunter (games I highly dislike), so if I could get through it you'll have no issues with it. You have lots of customization, different weapon play-styles. You can tackle most of the missions with your AI allies, which are not bad, so you can solo this game easily if you don't have someone to play with.

I didn't play the other GE games, so I can't compare it to those, but this one is very good! If you're an anime fan, you'll enjoy it more, because let's be honest it's very anime oriented.

TL;DR: buy only at heavy discount and if you're a fan of the series. Otherwise pass.

Mixed feelings here. I'd only recommend this game if you can grab it at ~90%, otherwise this is a HARD NO. I read the manga, and only bought it to play a game withing the universe, but it gets old reaally quickly. I have a special place in my heart for bad games that are fun, but this one barely manages the latter most of the time.

The game can be fun at times, and you have single player content to enjoy, although it's mostly tedious to be honest. Online is dead, but you can 100% the game due to bots filling the online matches, but expect some annoying matches when playing certain roles because the bots won't help you much.

I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favorite game on Steam.

I've already played the original games on PS3, and the Legendary Edition, and this is one if not the best space opera themed games. It's a fantastic story telling experience, even with it's mixed results on ME3, it doesn't take away from the journey. Fantastic characters, writing, and you will experience love and hate with many of the fantastic cast of characters and stories.

The remastered does right what it sets to achieve, and ME1 felt the more transformed game of the trilogy, but you can still see the benefits on the other games, if more subtle. You cannot go wrong if you want to play a space adventure, with heavy story telling, where you get to choose a lot of outcomes and can drastically impact the journey, even if the ME3 ending does spoils what should've been a better and more cohesive outcome.

This is the best and the definitive way to enjoy these games nowadays, bundling all the DLC that came out. Particular shout-outs to the Citadel (you will feel this one, guaranteed), and the Leviathan DLCs.

"This is Commander Shepard. Signing off." - See you all when ME4 comes out! Let's pray we get an amazing game.
