This game is utterly ridiculous.

A VR-defining game. I only wish they were less anti-custom songs, but with their latest DLC releases, it's clear they consider custom songs to impact their bottom line.

Tilt Brush is mind bending. This is the first program I demo for new users of my Vive, and every one of them is blown away by it. Even if you have no artistic abilities - I certainly don't - the ability to draw lines in an abstract, 3-dimensional space around you is an unforgettable experience.

I first trialled this software for 5 minutes after standing in line for an hour and a half at a Maker Faire. Three months later I had bought a Vive just to use it again. Tilt Brush is a MUST HAVE for anyone with a Vive.

Note: I received this product for free as part of a Vive bundle when purchasing the headset. That fact does not bias my review - an equivalent review would be given whether I paid full price for Tilt Brush.

This is a great game, as long as you're aware of how audiosurf/audioshield handles music-to-orb translation. This works with any audio in your library/online, which very simply means that the tracks aren't handmade, but generated via an algorithm. Notes are not always 1 to 1. The better the algorithm can pick up on a beat, the better music will translate to orbs.

All that being said, I have had no issue with how it generates tracks, and I love that I can use all of my music. The game visualizes music into an immersive experience unlike anything I've ever seen before. Audioshield is a must have for any music-loving Vive owner.

Really a beautiful game, in its storyline as well as its graphics.

Admittedly, the graphics aren't top of the line for a 2015 release, instead they're stylized, a somewhat watercolour style. This may be a turn off to some people, but I found it to fit the game well - it doesn't seem to detract from the immersion in my experience.

The soundtrack is great. Lots of ambient and "chill" music weaves scenes together, and fits the mood perfectly. I picked up the full OST after finishing the game.

Logically, this game makes me struggle a bit, as rewinds don't consistently follow the same set of principles. Sometimes a rewind will remove an item from your possession, sometimes it won't. Great, I've rewound, and now I'm behind this door, but what did the other people in the room see? Did I just disappear? They don't seem to question it, and this is a fictional game (...right?), but I couldn't help but feel perplexed by my powers sometimes, or wonder how someone got somewhere, etc. When you play this game... give logic a rest and just go with it, it makes it more enjoyable.

Overall, a much darker game than I originally expected, but a very well thought out storyline. Definitely recommend
