No apology necessary, but since you're interested I thought I'd pop by and mention that D&DG actually began development before Balatro did, and although Balatro got its 1.0 release first, there in fact wasn't any inspiration from it. It's been kind of funny to see the younger game eclipse its senor so much. Another fun fact, the devs of the two games are actually friends!
