I think placing value on people undermines the beauty the average joe is capable of. That in every single one of us, there is the potential to greatness. It might not be grand like some of us envision, but it'll leave enough of a mark that others will reminisce about the time you grant them a piece of your heart, even if it wasn't necessary.
