First off, love the unique art style. Overall, the gameplay loop is fun and makes you want to see what's next. Stealth, pacify, or guns blazing. Everything is a weapon. I am looking forward to whatever new content keeps coming during this early access stage.

Buy this game, or sleep with the fishes. Capeesh?

Literally the first time playing, I couldn't get past the tutorial before I was killed by a hacker. The second time I was killed, he had teleported across the map to my random spawn. I started talking to him in the chat and he admitted he was hacking, said he was sorry. At least the hackers have remorse I guess?

Bethesda Game Studios has never released a game with functioning ladders. Think about that for a second. It's 2020, and in Fallout 76 I still can't climb a ladder. Do not buy this game.

*Update: 2020 is almost over and ladders still do not work.*

I would recommend picking this up if you were a fan of Verdun. So far the gameplay feels much better than Verdun. You can tell the devs put a lot of effort into the game. Overall it looks and feels quite polished.

Well I tried to play this game, but it won't stop crashing. After a little bit of googling, I quickly found that I am not the only one with the issue of course. I tried following people's tips about disabling specific settings etc, see below. It worked for a little bit after applying this list.

- Update your drivers (Obviously)
- Set main graphic settings to High
- Turn on VSYNC
- Turn off MSAA
- Turn off Contact Hardening Shadows
- Turn off Volumetric Lighting
- Set resolution to 1920x1080
- Enable Exclusive Fullscreen

After messing with the settings multiple times I thought I was in the clear. I had progressed a bit and was starting to have fun... It crashed yet again. Welp, time to move on I guess. It's a real shame because Deus Ex: Human Revolution had a pretty interesting and fun story overall. I was looking forward to seeing what the sequel had to offer our main protagonist. It's sad that even after it's been a few years since release, "AAA" games like this are still full of game breaking bugs that will never be fixed.

What is the Chad Offliner you ask?
- I am a Master planner.
- I wear custom bright colors so all the nakeds know who I am.
- I own all of the free Twitch prime gear, my garage doors have Pokimane's kawaii face plastered on them.
- I will c4 wooden doors for fun.
- I block off doorways and break TCs, while also simulataneously leaving signs that mock the owner.
- I often leave the sleeping bags of my victims so they have to respawn into a box with no doors.
- My team includes real life architects and engineers.
- Frequently wall off the major ore sites.
- Down the heli every chance I get, don't even bother looting.
- Often kill bears and deer with the rocket launcher.
- Wait until my enemies log off so I can offline raid them.
- Bring about 40 rockets to the raid.
- Ignore chat unless I am ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on other players.
- Read the Art of War by Sun Tzu out loud to demoralize nakeds.
- My base typically has about 40-50 custom turrets with pythons and bolties.
- Never get counter raided as other players know they aren't as good as my squad.

Prime example of why you shouldn't buy early access games. I was hopeful back in the early days when it was originally a SOE game. Then of course it was sold, rebranded, and repurposed into two separate games where they could sell microtransactions. A typical asset purge by the new company was quite obvious. And now today they announce the game is dead and they are giving up. They never even fully released out of early access. Pretty disappointing but not surprising. I hope these guys stop making games in general. I for one will not be buying anything produced by this publisher in the future.

Refunded the game because it constantly crashed. I had fun when I was able to play. I would like to recommend the title for how cheap it is, unfortunately I can't at this time because of the crashing issues.

Well I really want to enjoy this game... I bought this game because I loved The New Order and The Old Blood. They were amazing FPS games with near flawless optimization at launch. Unfortunately in it's current state, The New Colossus is a total mess. Sure the graphics look nice, but In the 4 hours I have attempted to play so far, I have crashed constantly.

I can't even get past the first mission of the game without crashing. If I alt+tab, the game crashes and I have to end the program via task manager. If I die ingame, yet again it crashes and I have to end the program via task manager. If I complete the mission, you guessed it, black screen and I have to end the program via task manager.

For now I cannot recommend this game to anyone. Maybe if they update the game to make it stable I will try to play it again. It's a real shame because I really do enjoy the storyline that MachineGames has created with this franchise reboot. The characters are interesting and very animated. The world is dark and over the top. The visuals are superb and the soundtrack is amazing. Unfortunately I cannot enjoy the game at all in it's current state.

Another thing, do not pre-order. No matter how much you like a franchise or trust a developer. Do not pre-order. I thought this game was going to be a sure thing with how great the previous installments were, but apparently it does not matter. It doesn't matter how great a developer is or how great their IP is, it feels like this is the norm of the industry now. I feel like an idiot for pre-ordering but that's what I get I suppose.

Please fix your game MachineGames... I want to play it. I know my specs are more than enough so it's not me, it's you.
