This restaurant is called Happy, which is honestly impressive given how aggressively miserable the experience was.

The welcome at the entrance was good but it’s like all the friendliness was used up right there, because once seated, the service took a dramatic nosedive. The waitress behaved as if customers were an inconvenience she never signed up for. Cold, dismissive, zero effort. When it was time to pay, the card receipt was literally thrown onto the table. Not handed. Thrown.

Happy's food comes with a sadness. Located in the heart of Leicester and Picadilly Curcus, the restaurant attracts a large number of foreigners and nationals. There was no need for booking, and we have been seated in literally less than 3 minutes from the door to the table. The team was always attentive, friendly, and efficient. They took every order correctly, and the food was served accordingly. I ordered a Kiwi 🥝 Vodka and my companion a Pinaple fizzy drink. Unfortunately, the 11 (counted) ice cubes leave me with nothing but less than 30ml of cocktail, which is nothing but pricey. The soft drink wasn't any better. The salad was acceptable, but to my surprise, there was a huge difference between the illustration in the menu and the food served to the table, to which the staff commented "this is only for marketing" and I found it very inappropriate.
