I miss my Helldivers friends and dunno if we'll ever get to do some co-op of something else in the top-down/isometric vein some day.
I had some fun with Korean-devved Section 13, but burned out after about 80-hours. It was quite fun and challenging in online co-op for up to 3 players.
Synthetik 2 has been in early access for nearly 4 years now, I've gotten back into it with the U15 Grand Operations update. Server-based online co-op for up to 4 players is very fun when it works, but there are still way too many bugs. I've got more than 400 hours in the game, I just wish it had any interest in mission objectives.
Blackout Zero Point is a neat side-scroller (360-degree aiming) sci-fi vs. alien monsters shooter with Helldivers-style mission objectives, and a playable solo/online co-op 3-level demo's due out tomorrow (July 31), and I'm eager to try it.
