This is definitely one of my hear me out type games. I admit that it's abandoned and very outdated compared to Baldi's Basics Plus (which is a given since that game still receives updates) but unfortunately I go monkey mode for this thing. Funni red man has bewitched me.
No other game would have me on google maps at 4am looking for water. Don't worry I'm in therapy.
Sweeping Time is still the world's most cooked achievement though.

I got this game expecting a short visual novel about some people in pur(r)gatory. I thought I'd play for about an hour, think 'that was fun' and give up like I do with a lot of other text-focused games.

I was blown away at how emotional I got. There is no reason I should have wept like a child when I finally got that good ending. Actually, no, there was a very good reason why I did. The characters, with each of their charming personalities and relatable motives and fears were all incredible and I found myself rooting for everyone. I haven't played this in a while, but I still hold a candle to it as one of my favourite games I've ever played.
It doesn't have to be complex. It doesn't have to break records, but it's purrfect for what it sets out to do and after all this time I still tell people to play it. Often.
