Where has this game been all my life?

Jokes aside, this game has captured my attention for the last week or so since it came out, I'm only about 47 hours into the thing and I feel like I've barely scratched the surface here.

While I would like for more options to go for a completely pacifistic run, as there seems to be plenty of ways to go for full murderbot 9000, this game IS still in early access and since I've owned it in the last week, there have been 3 updates for both bugfixes and tweaks. Hoping that bodes well for future content.

This game's worth it if you're interested in sci-fi dystopias and the ability to shape and mold them to your whims. Just don't forget to be nice to yourself.

Edit at about 80 hours of play time. The soundtrack is something that would love to listen to just on its own, and would happily get as a standalone as I could. The game still holds up and there's now 5 updates since it's launched. To the devs, Keep the flow rolling, folks, you're doing a kickass job.

Quite the adventure. Worth the price, and worth going through more than once. Sure there's no difficulty slider or anything like that, but your difficulty curve is adjusted by the weapons and equipment that you purchase.

It's halo, my dude. It's back on PC.

I've sunk a few hundred hours into this game, it's got a visual style similar to Rimworld which is pretty cool. Something about the inverse correlation between graphics and content doesn't quite hold up though. Like I said, graphics are pretty minimalist for the most part, but the game still feels kinda... lacking in certain areas. Unfortunate that paradox is going to nickel and dime the rest of the future content out of this in the form of their dlc. (See Stellaris, or Crusader Kings, or really any other paradox game, you'll see what's coming.)

I have spent far too many hours enjoying this game and despite the flak it gets with every successive update I believe it becomes stronger and more varied. Each update that isn't just a hotfix brings at least 1 new weapon. That's that much more xp to earn and that much more loot to get! Anyways, yes it's tedious and repetative and I wouldn't have it any other way.
