Early Access Review
damn.
I could never really get into the traditional prop-hunt gamemode's, like in TF2 and GMod.
But something about this game has me hooked harder then the harpoon bazooka. I literally cannot put this game down.

good graphics, good gameplay, good community = good video game.

Constant crashing.
Lack of communication from developers.
Wrestlers and alt attires locked behind a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ micro-transaction mode.
Gameplay that rewards spamming the counter button the whole time.
A recovery system that stops wrestlers from selling the big moves, giving you barely any chance to set up big spots.
lackluster singleplayer modes.
A wonderful community of user created wrestlers that has been hindered by the crashing they seemingly cause.
The list goes on and on....

I wanted to love this game so bad, but its clear 2K doesn't give a ♥♥♥♥.

Also, the soundtrack is so bad...

I love Battle Royale's, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ do I hate Battle Royale's.
Some BR's are ♥♥♥♥, Some are even ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ then those ones, and some of them are just okay....
But Apex is more then just okay... I may even say its "Alright"

Ubisoft has released yet another dissapointing Beta. Thats two in just one month!
Filled with problems that we all know wont get fixed by launch.

Since watching the first trailer for Tom Clancy's: Wildlands I've been mildly excited for its release. Trailers Showing off the games amazing visuals and exciting gameplay, I couldnt help but get excited.
But after watching gameplay from those given early access and now actually being able to play it myself, I realized it was foolish to get excited for anything made by Ubisoft.

Right off the bat you can see the graphics are a little off from what was shown over a year ago. Early gameplay footage showed much better graphics then what were given now. (Go ahead and pull up some early gameplay)
Now I'm not saying the graphics are ♥♥♥♥, they're just not great. One of the game's main setting's takes place in the middle of a desert. This area is very plain looking and features no color making it a little depressing to explore.

Moving away from graphics but staying on the subject of exploration, exploring in this game is beyond boring.
The open world aspect of this game is only there so they can call it an open world game. It seem's like no effort was put into it at all. The map contains nothing enjoyable to do. You drive down roads filled with awful AI and evil cars to shoot at while you drive to your next mission.
And while you're driving there you will get to enjoy Wildlands terrible driving physics! You dont even need to have driven a motorcycle to know thats not how they work. Driving feels clunky and odd, the vehicles dont behave like a regular car. They turn very stiffly and respond to the enviroment in a very buggy way.
Once you get to your destination and get ready to shoot the bad guys you're greeted with something that hurt my eye's more than the map.... the aiming. Never in my whole life have I seen a Third to First person transition as bad as this one.

After you get over all the smaller details of this 80$ game you can get into the un-fun gameplay.
This game is just recycled missions over and over again. I'm sorry but theres nothing fun about these "tactical missions." When enemy's watch you shoot one of their buddy's and just look around confused, it make's the stealth part of this game a little less enjoyable.
The only fun I can see someone having in this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around with friends and exploiting all the faulty mechanics.
Buy this game if you want, can't stop you, but I reccommend you wait till its 30$ this summer.

Sorry if this review was more like a rant. I nitpicked on some of my points.
You can find some of my review's that (in my opinion) are better formatted and written here[steamblogs.com]

After reading some of the Negative Reviews about "Characters being to OP!!!11!!!!1!"
I thought I would make a review about why this game deserves the rating.

For Honor. for starters, has very nice looking graphics, and animations that make you feel badass when you're exacuting a tall samurai on a flaming bridge.
The Game currently has 9 characters (12 at launch) all of which have different playstyles who are easy to obtain (I was able to get 3 characters in about 2 and half hours of playtime) so its enjoyable to play around and find someone you're comfortable with.
The Combat can get frustrating, but does require patients and stratagy in order to win. Button mashing will result in a quick loss.
BUT! It gets pretty repetitive as you play on, and most people result to running away untill they can slam you off an edge.

There are 5 game modes to choose from, while only 2 of which I found enjoyable, those being Domnion and 1v1 Duels. The game modes like 4v4's got too chaotic, whoever would finish their 1v1 first would roam the map ganking (yes, I know its a stratagy to winning) which got annoying and hard to deal with. With 1v1's and Dominion, theres a sense of adreneline when you and your oponent reach low health or when your team breaks that you never feel in the other modes.

The community, right now, is very rude. Anything you do is labled as "Broken" or "unfair" as they proceed to run around aimlessly.
Despite this, I have no doubt this is a result of it being in open beta and it will improve on release.

I initially thought the Peer2Peer thing was going to be issue, but I didnt seem to encounter any problems with it at all.

EDIT: So Ive played alot since writting this review, and everything Ive said still stands, except P2P.... Since writting this ive encountered so many issues regarding this.... 5 minutes or more load times, connection issues, enemies having intense lagging fits... I gave P2P a chance, and it ♥♥♥♥♥♥ me over.

While there are going to be 12 characters and many maps and there variations, this currently does not feel like a 80$CND/60$USD game... and with the way the game plays I dont imagine a campaign mode will help justifie the price either.
So while I'm enjoying the game while its free and in Beta, I'll wait till the price drops a bit before picking this one up or recommend it to others. The content just isnt there.

There are also many bugs, some smaller than others. Most of which impact gamplay quit a bit. But If anyone could fix these bugs before the big release in 4 days its Ubisoft!!! (Obviously Kidding)

Life is Strange has given me a gaming experience Ill never forget.

The story it told was so engaging and exciting, the characters were relatable and enjoyable to interact with, and the gameplay elements, added on to this amazing story based game, never got boring... You used your power in so many different ways it was hard for it to get stale.

I doubt I will get this emotionally attached to a game, its characters and story untill the sequel....

I cant recommend this game enough, even if you're not into this sorta thing, I can promise an unforgettable experience playing Life is strange.
